For Patients

What to expect at your consultation

The friendly clinicians at myPodiatry Health are here to make your first consultation as comfortable as possible. It’s important that we take the time to understand your needs so that we can accurately diagnose and assess your condition.

As part of your consultation, we’ll discuss your medical history, overall health and any pain you may be experiencing. We may also take a look at how you move and walk (gait assessment). All this information helps us devise a more personalised management and treatment plan designed to get you back you on your feet fast.

Preparing for your consultation

  • Please bring your referral and any relevant medical documents
  • Wear comfortable shorts
  • Bring along the shoes you normally wear (especially work shoes) so that we can assess your footwear and see whether or not they are contributing to your condition.

Your follow up appointment

A follow up appointment is important as we can assess how your treatment is working for you, address any concerns you may have and help you continue to manage your condition. Your clinician will recommend the best time for your follow-up appointment and bookings can be made at reception.
